Default Desk Genie Desk Stand

I found this a couple of weeks ago and thought I'd give it a try. It's a bit pricey but not bad at all. Especially considering it has 2 USB ports and a 4-slot card reader built-in. The sticky pad works well with the Invisible Shield covering I put on my Touch HD but because it's not a cradle, it doesn't actually hold the PDA positively so don't wave it about! But for desk use where it doesn't get knocked, it's fine.

You still have to plug in your USB lead to the PDA which is a bit fiddly compared to a standard cradle. But it will be usable with any future PDA so I won't have to add it to my collection of old cradles for old Orbits. And it does support the Touch well when I'm fingering it (with the other cradle I've got, there isn't much of a support and I get a bit nervy about bending the USB connector). I found it here on MobileFun but I'm sure it will be available from other sources.

Cheers for that gio. And what I like about it is that it is suitable for any mobile device and not tied to a particular model. I am seriously considering buying this as I can use it with all my mobile "toys".

Thanks for the tip!

Nice one gio, just read about this in the latest edition of Smartphone Essentials Mag, they gave it a score of 8 out of 10 same website, should be able to buy it for around the £14.99 mark

Looks like a handy new toy that will be joining my collection soon... Not found many things for the HTC HD2 yet.
