That be the Robinson Crusoe I had in mind!
Was never a fan of champion the wonder horse.
But do you remember "The White Horses"? I was madly in love with "Julia" at the time Sadly, the actress, Helga Anders, died in 1986 aged 38 :(

For downloading clips for posterity from YouTube and the like, I use VideoGet, which is available from Nuclear Cafe. Sadly not free, but worth the investment

Cheers Bill you made me smile I loved the tomorrow people and strangely it makes me think of Sapphire and Steel with Joanna Lumley and David McCallum!

As for changing FLV well I use one of two , either GetyTV where you can save as MP4 as well as FLV plus 3GP although I wouldn't know why you'd do that or if it's the mp3 you want then I use youtubeplay which will rip the mp3 after downloading the flv file then you can just discard the vid unless you wanna keep it of course both are done directly on the device, anytime, anyplace, anywhere ( with a decent signal, ahem )

One of the best ever TV theme tunes just has to be "The Persuaders" (and is my favourite ringtone too!).

Again, there is talk of a cinematic remake. One version is said to have been with Ben Stiller and Steve Coogan (sounds like Starsky and Hutch to me) and another rumour has it that George Clooney and Hugh Grant will star. Well, if they do remake it, better be DAMN good to match up to the original.

Talking of blasts from the past Bill, how could you omit Four Feather Falls, and Supercar ??!!

My fave though was Thunderbirds.

The acting was a bit 'wooden' though...........

Four Feather Falls? Supercar? Torchy the Battery Boy? What were they?

I dont recall any of them i'm afraid - must have been a different era and by the sounds of them not as old as my era

They were Gerry Andersons first three TV series. Personally only remember Supercar. After that came Fireball XL5, Stingray then Thunderbirds. They don't make shows like that for kids these days. FireballXL5 & Stingray getting close to being 50 years old!! UFO is now 41 years old and I remember it like it was yesterday.

Joined the FLV debate a bit late I fear. I either use vixy.net (an online tool) or there is a YouTube downloader/converter by a company called DVDVideoSoft and their kit is free!
