Got it to work without a problem, quite handy if you have kids under your feet all the time which I do living on a narrowboat plus you save on peripherals and batteries if you were to buy the wireless mouse and?or keyboard

Do you like to mod your Manila 2.5 home screen, give it a bit more of a personal feel rather than that "Out Of The Box" look? Well, then this is just what you have been looking for. And naturally, it doesn't cost a thing.



Here, you can see some of the changes you can make on-the-fly, as all the modifications are built in (such as 6 variations on the clock appearance).

IMPORTANT: This mod ONLY works on HTC phones that use HTC Sense (Manila)2.5. So HD2 and phones with cooked ROMs that also use Sense 2.5. Works fine on my Diamond 2 with a cooked ROM.

To get a better feel for what Co0kies Home Tab can do, CJ Lippstreu at Pocketnow.com has made a really useful demo video, so spare a few minutes to take a look at it. It's worth it!



IF you want to try it out (easy to remove if you don't like it), you will need two .cab files:

Co0kies Home Tab v1.7.0, and,
CHTEditor 1.7.0.0

In Home settings, disable HTC Sense (Manila). Install both .cab files to main memory (Co0kie Home first and then CHTEditor), soft reset your phone. Then again in Home settings, re-enable HTC Sense (Manila).

On the screen shot - is there a cab for just the fliptime and weather as a today plug in? I like the standard today screen but would like a plug in showing the touch flo style clock which ive seen with a weather icon just below and overlapping (similar to the shot but without the analogue to the side) does anyone know?

There is this, from TWOLF at xda-devs. In the screens above, the option menu is only visible when you click on it, so normally you only have the clock and/or weather on your today page.

You need to have flash installed to make it work. And of course, it's free!

LOL!! This one is just for a bit of "old school" fun and has no real value other than a bit of a giggle. Make it look like your phone is booting up just like a windows PC. So really, it's just a splashscreen replacement (with sound if you wish, which adds to the fun).





Download the .cab file and run it from your phone. If you want sound, download the .wav file and place it in the root Windows file (delete existing files of the same name, should there already be any). Reset phone and away you go.

Installed this splash screen without the sound and whilst I think it's groovy the windows logo flashes up and disappears just as quickly to be replaced by the Qualcomm screen again, hhmmm not sure if that's quite right going by the YouTube vid you posted here.

Still like it tho ...
