Rom List?

Although I'm asking for the Touch HD I guess it applies to the Orbit 1&2 but I can't find an uptodate and therefore definitive list of ROMs available (mainly for HD for me) seen bits around but looking for the latest available with decent reviews. Whew, don't want much do I?

If you haven't registered with www.xda-developers.com I would strongly suggest that you do as they are an invaluable source of info and the wiki is the best to found anywhere and of course you can add to in order to give something back.

been trying to find an up to date ROM, XDA devs seems a minefield, anyone got a stable good one? especially with the software that clears the old official ROM

Take a look at HTCpedia. Some of the best cooks now post their ROMs there. Much quicker for searching for ROMs than going through the zillions of posts over at XDA-Devs.

HTCpedia is a sort of spin-off of XDA-Devs. But the sad side of the story is, that ROMs for older phones, such as the beloved Orbit, are not to be found. The majority of ROMs are for the newer and current models on the market (including Android).

Certainly worth a visit!

Very difficult to find a review of a ROM. I tried a few HD roms but ended up with the original .

I didn't have any problems flashing between ROMs. Follow the instructions and hard reset after flashing it will save a lot of problems.

As for stability, it's a to each their own. People use their devices differently so what works for one doesn't for another.
