Hullo XDA Orbit fans! Not QUITE sure if this is the right place to introduce myself, but couldn't find a better thread for it. Got here today having owned an Orbit on contract with O2 for about two weeks now. Was looking today at the official O2 website, which refreshingly has a spot where folks can write reviews of their O2 PDA - not the sort of thing one normally finds on a corporate website (they normally only want their own promotional material on there). Anyway, part of each review was a hints and tips section, which I got a lot of information from, including the fact that GPRS is very expensive and a bit of a con. This lead me to do a Google search for how to switch it off, which got me to the FileSaveAs forums, which in turn got me to Ben's excellent download page. And here I am! Hope to pop in every now and then to discuss various elements of hardware and software. I'm male, from Cheshire, Britain, born in 1971, a programmer and SQL Server DBA by trade, formerly a quantity surveyor, keen Xbox 360 gamer...the list goes on... Art |

Almost same reason i ended up here. I found this website through XDA-developers forum so went back and posted a new thread on their forum just to let all Orbit fans know about this site.

Found here via XDA-Developers too.
Me, born in 1971 (April 18th, so that's a birthday in 2 days  ). From Pontefract originally (Near Leeds) but now live on the outskirts of Swansea near the Gower in the middle of nowhere (no post office, no shops, just a crappy pub!)Been a software developer for 20 years now, industrial stuff mainly (steel, building, mining, fuel, etc) and another keen 360 and Wii gamer
